Solutions

The software layer Texas energy-efficiency programs run on.

Utilities keep program authority. Licensed contractors do the field work. Efficient Solutions keeps the records honest.

About

Program integrity utilities can stand behind.

Efficient Solutions builds software for Texas energy-efficiency programs. We are not a storefront and not a consumer brand company. The product is the layer programs run on—so utilities are not buying another slide deck, and licensed HVAC companies are not filling out another stack of forms.

We verify premises without asking the utility for a customer list. Hard-to-reach geography should be fail-closed and independently confirmable—not a vibe. Incentives should wait for settlement, not a portal click.

Outcomes we optimize for: lower admin cost, higher throughput, audit readiness, and settlement clarity.

Industry

What Texas programs actually need.

Standard-offer work is still too often run like a market-transformation paperwork exercise. The software layer should match how the market is supposed to work.

Open standard offer

SOP measures need licensed contractors who can participate without a captive field force. Market transformation programs have their place; they are not a substitute for an open channel.

Premise truth

Program participants should know the serving utility and whether the premise is live—without the utility handing over a customer file.

Honest hard-to-reach geography

Category 1C and similar rules deserve fail-closed answers and a path to confirm on the HUD map. Guesswork and ZIP shortcuts do not survive an EEPR-grade review.

Settlement-grade records

Documentation should hold up when the utility pays and when the filing is due. Trade allies should see a funding signal—not the pool math.

News

Appointed to HOMES & HEAR Advisory Council

Efficient Solutions LLC has been appointed to a state energy office and APTIM Federal Services Advisory Council for the Home Efficiency Rebates (HOMES) and Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) programs.

Authorized by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, HOMES and HEAR provide residential efficiency rebates through federal allocations. On the council, Efficient Solutions contributes operational perspective on program design, market friction, and continuous improvement for households and contractors executing the work.

That seat is credibility for how Texas programs get designed—not a product we are selling from this page.

Utilities first. Trade allies next.

If you run a Texas EE portfolio, start a conversation. Licensed HVAC companies: we work with trade allies after utilities put that in writing.
